Product description

Compact true-rms meter for commercial applications. The Fluke 117 is the ideal meter for demanding settings like commercial buildings, hospitals and schools. The 117 includes integrated non-contact-voltage detection to help get the job done faster.
The Fluke “110 series” is Fluke's cheapest "Fluke Branded" line. (Note: as of 2015 there are two cheaper lines made by Fluke but I know little about them aside from the fact that they are stripped down a bit.) It's a Fluke so you know you're getting an instrument worth its salt. The 117 is the most feature packed and highest priced in the series. It's a smaller form factor than some of the other Fluke meters. It features all the traditional fields that you'll find on most modern DMMs. Volts AC (True RMS) & DC both to 600V. A full mV range. Resistance, continuity, diode check, capacitance, and frequency. It features AC & DC current measurement to 10A however it lacks a mA and uA range since this is an electrician's meter, not an electronics meter. Two more modes it offers are “volt alert” and a LoZ voltage measurement.

The Fantastic Fluke 115 Multi-meter

Customer Reviews
My last Fluke was over 30 years old and still going strong when it got lost in a move. I wanted to stay with the Fluke brand and went back and forth between the 115 and 177 for some time. Advantages of the 177 are it's made in the USA and has a better warranty and a micro amp port. Some advantages of the 115 are it's substantially cheaper (China made) and more compact and has a better battery compartment. Weighing the above I ended up buying the 115. It arrived in new condition housed in an easy-open plastic cover. My 115 came with an instruction manual and Fluke TL75 test leads. The TL75 leads are adequate but since they're made of plastic they lack the flexibility of silicone. I immediately ordered better quality silicone leads Fluke TL224 paired with TP220 test probes. I have to say I'm pretty happy with this multi-meter. The shape of the 115 is pretty sexy being narrower on the bottom and curving out at the top which makes it a pleasure to hold. It fits my hand like a glove. If I were to fault it for anything it would be the display. If you want the display to be at its darkest you need to be careful with placement. For example, if standing and working at a panel if I hang it around 12 inches above eye level its nice and dark but if placed directly at eye level the display is readable but dimmer. This isn't a deal killer and I would buy again.

Customer Reviews
This is a great lil meter! I've used Fluke meters since my Navy days, almost 20 years ago. Die hard meters and I've never had an issue with them. Time will tell if this lil 101 is up to the challenge. The only thing of note was my meter came with no meter leads. At first I thought that was normal, but the box clearly states what is included. So poor feedback was left for the seller, looks like my meter was a returned (open box) item that never got checked. At least not checked by any competent person. I'll grab some leads from work and should be good to go. I'll be sure to report back any issues with this 101 in the next few weeks. It'll get plenty of use in an industrial environment shortly.

Fluke 323 True-RMS Clamp Meter

by Fluke

The Fluke 323 clamp meter is designed to perform in the toughest environments and provide noise-free, reliable results you can trust to confidently diagnose problems. The Fluke 323 model is ideally suited for current measurements up to 400 A in tight cable compartments. True RMS measurements and optimized ergonomics make the Fluke 323 one of the best general troubleshooting tool for commercial and residential electricians.
The meter itself is a solid product for the money, fast and accurate like all other fluke products, unfortunately the leads that came with this particular meter are awful. They do not seat fully even with extreme pressure and slip out on a regular basis.

Luckily I have leads from another manufacturer that will hold me over since I purchased this mostly for the clamp.

Customer Reviews
I called fluke customer service about this issue and they completely blew me off, I told them that other people I work with have similar issues and just end up using old leads or buying new leads so that means the defect is the leads themselves. I told them that sending me the same leads was not a solution to the issue and the technical support guy agreed, he then transferred me back to customer service and she informed me that they were sending out the same leads! I informed her that I had just went over this with tech support, she offered to send me back over but I was frustrated at this point and told her that I will just use their competitors leads and that I would be writing a review of my experience.

Customer Reviews
The Fluke 80 series is Fluke's "bread and butter" meter and the 87-V or "87 Five" is has been pretty much “THE standard in multimeters” since its introduction. It's an industry professional's tool that's jam packed with useful and accurate measurements that make it appealing to electricians and electronics professionals alike. Frankly there isn't too much this meter doesn't have. It's a 6000 count meter with a push button 20,000 ct hi-resolution mode. It measures Amps (up to 10), mA and uA, as well as capacitance, V and mV, temperature, frequency, resistance AND conductance, and of course it has a continuity buzzer as well as a diode check. As of this update in Aug 2015 there are several meters that have entered the market with a higher accuracy or at least higher resolution but none that I feel are a higher quality than the 87-V. That said I do feel that it’s time for Fluke to build its successor. The 87-V’s design is nearly 30 years old and technology has advanced meaning that it’s time to see a newer design.

Product description

The Fluke 113 True-RMS Utility Multimeter is a digital multimeter (also known as a multitester) that measures AC/DC voltage to 600V, resistance to 60 kiloohms, and capacitance to 9,999 microfarads. The meter has a diode check for testing general-purpose germanium, silicon, and power diodes, and a continuity beeper which provides audible detection of resistance by turning on at less than 25 ohms and off at 250 ohms. It is also able to simultaneously check for voltage and continuity. This true RMS meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear or nonlinear loads where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal or nonsinusoidal waveform and has both manual- and auto-ranging capabilities for user flexibility. A Max/Min function records signal fluctuations and a hold function freezes measurements on the display. The 6000-count resolution, 3-1/2 digit digital display is backlit for readability in low-light conditions. The meter is safety rated for Category III to 600V and Category IV to 300V. It uses a 9V battery (installed) with a battery life of approximately 300 hours without backlight and has a sleep mode to maximize battery life. The meter measures 6.58 x 3.35 x 1.81 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 13 oz./404 g. (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) This meter includes a holster with built-in probe holders for convenient storage.
Multimeters are electrical test meters that measure multiple properties of an electrical circuit, such as current, voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity. Available in handheld or benchtop models, multimeters diagnose electrical problems in electrical equipment, wiring, and power supplies. A variety of probes, clamps, and leads can be used to connect the meter to a circuit or device. Multimeters display information either in analog or digital form. Factors that influence meter choice include the electrical properties to be measured, the anticipated range of results, and the desired level of protection against transient voltage. Safety ratings are based on International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards for low-voltage test equipment. IEC 61010 delineates four overvoltage installation categories. In general, a meter with a category IV rating will provide more protection against transient voltages than a meter with a lower category rating.
Fluke Corporation manufactures electrical testing tools and software for industrial and commercial applications. The company, founded in 1948, is headquartered in Everett, WA.

Customer Reviews
It's a basic Fluke Multimeter. Good for most applications that require a reliable and accurate meter that can measure AC (true RMS) or DC Voltages, Capacitance, circuit continuity, or Resistance. Notice however that in the product description there is no mention of current reading capabilities. That is because the Fluke-113 CAN'T MEASURE CURRENTS directly, so If you need to measure Currents directly, this is not the meter for you. (Maybe look into the Fluke 115, more expensive, but it can measure DC or AC currents). Overall, It has performed very well for me in various applications from home renovation electrical work to hobby electronics. Exactly the quality (and price) that one would expect from a Fluke Instrument.

Customer Reviews
The Fluke 179 is an excellent meter and I've used it for serious electronics hobby work for a couple of years now including measuring very high AC / DC voltages and currents. It's extremely accurate, reliable, and has several functions (measurements) it can do very well. The ergonomic case design and the fact that the holster is integrated into the case design make it durable, compact, and easy to work with, this one thing is what the 179 has over the 87-5. When I first got the 179, the beeper went out, I contact Fluke, sent it back to them, they repaired it no charge and even calibrated it for free! So you have excellent support from Fluke with the lifetime warranty on this meter. Only thing is there is a few things the 179 cannot do that the more feature rich Fluke 87-5 can do, so I wish I would've spent the extra $66 and got the Fluke 87-5.

Fluke 325 True RMS Clamp Meter

Work with the best. The Fluke 325 True RMS Clamp Meter offers big features in a small form factor.

True RMS measurements and optimized ergonomics make the 320 Series Clamp Meters one of the best general troubleshooting tools for commercial and residential electricians. The 323, 324 and 325 are designed to verify the presence of load current, AC voltage and continuity of circuits, switches, fuses and contacts. These small and rugged clamp meters are ideally suited for current measurements up to 400 A in tight cable compartments. The Fluke 325 also offers DC current and frequency measurements.

Customer Reviews
First of all, it's a Fluke, with all of the quality implied by the brand. It's built tough, and designed for safety. The ergonomics are great, with smooth operating jaws and dial.

One question recently asked about this meter was if you can measure current using the test leads (series connected current measurement. The answer is "no," and the manual specifies to disconnect the test leads before measuring current using the clamp jaws.

Speaking of the manual, it's pretty useless... Instead of text describing the features, it uses cryptic pictograms to attempt to convey complex ideas. Head to Youtube to see videos of how to use the meter if you're unsure. If you've used a similar meter in the past, it's pretty easy to figure out how to work this meter.

I recently did some testing of a 3 ampere circuit breaker to determine the overcurrent trip point. I used an HP DC power supply (with built in current measurement) and a Fluke 87-5 connected in series to monitor current (just to verify accuracy). For fun (and to satisfy my curiosity), I also clamped the Fluke 325 onto the test lead. Unsurprisingly, the three meters (power supply, 87-V, and 325) all matched within 0.10 amperes of each other. Very gratifying and reassuring to see such demonstrated accuracy.

Customer Reviews
Just received this Fluke meter purchased on Amazon. I've been eyeing a Fluke 115 for awhile, but it always seemed like a budget meter at a non-budget price. I also have an T5-600 which works well, but is fairly limited in functionality and certainly is not in the same league as this one. .

This 15B is a fluke meter made for the Chinese market. All of the box markings and documentation is in Chinese. There is nothing on the device itself that would indicate it's not for use in the US market, looks just like every other Fluke meter.

This is not a knock off, it is a real Fluke meter. It has the same look and feel as much more expensive Fluke equipment. Nice gray finish with a the standard Fluke yellow rubber case with an integrated "easel" stand. It comes with a long set of leads, and the fit and finish is equivalent to other Fluke meters I've used.

I like this one, because it's bigger and more substantial than the 115-117 series, with a larger readout. It has auto ranging and the same basic functions that the $400 Fluke 87 has - but doesn't have all the bells and whistles - min/max, auto hold, etc. It uses 2 AA batteries which are pretty easily accessible from the back without removing the case.

The seller had taped a message that said you could download an English manual from a web page or get one from them via email. I'm not sure I really need it, seems pretty self explanatory.

Try it, I think you'll like it.

Product description

Style:Standard
The Fluke true-rms clamp meter is a great clamp meter for general, grab-and-go troubleshooting needs. The Fluke 323 323-AMZN is ideally suited for current measurements up to 400 a in tight cable compartments.
Good quality meter, solid sturdy construction. I'm not a professional electrician or HVAC tech, but I wanted a good quality meter that had, in one unit, the typical measurements that I'm in need of: voltage, current, resistance/continuity, capacitance, and temperature. Previously I had a box of various and assorted meters, none of which had all that I wanted, but in combination did. All were of standard (read: dubious) quality, and never quite seemed to agree in scale. I junked them all and went w/ the 324.

Customer Reviews

It has performed to and exceeded my expectations. The quality and construction seems substantial for contractor/tech work, but I can't comment on field durability, this will be a 'garage queen' for my occasional use. The price point is high for my general needs, but I feel that I'd probably spent more than that on the bevy of meters that I discarded, not to mention the implicit costs associated with poorly calibrated devices and not having any sense of confidence. I'm happy with my decision, and very pleased with my purchase.

Style:T5-600/62MAX+/1AC Kit
This kit is designed to help electricians and HVAC technicians solve problems quicker. Test first for overheated electrical devices using an IR thermometer; then use electrical test tools to find out more about the problem.
Dad's cheapo meter smoked in my hand when I tried testing the wall outlet voltage and then had to use a cheaper older one to finish the job. He's closing in on 80 and don't want him getting bit needlessly. This Fluke is durable and fool proof, no offense Dad. No having to get the probes in the right sockets, turn the thing to volts and it does not care if it's AC or DC and the AC current clamp/hook can't be any safer. Turns itself off even if you don't. I have used these for automated production maintenance for years, quick easy troubleshooting and takes the knocking around all day every day in the tool bag.
